  2. 2

Allow hull to dry for at least 24-48 hours before painting.

  3. 3

Sand the existing antifouling with 80-grit to scuff and remove any loose paint.

Sand any bare fiberglass spots to 120-grit and apply barrier coat primer.

  5. 5

Apply masking tape along the waterline for a clean edge.

  6. 6

Stir antifouling paint thoroughly; do not shake as it introduces air bubbles.

Apply first coat with a short-nap roller, cutting in at the waterline and keel with a brush.

  8. 8

Allow to dry per manufacturer instructions (usually 2-4 hours).

Apply second coat in the opposite direction for even coverage.

  10. 10

Remove masking tape while paint is still slightly tacky; launch within the time window specified by the paint manufacturer.
